What to bring
Pack for a day on the track
Camp opens at 9:00 a.m. on the track. Label everything, and send a bag that fits on a bench.
Closed-toe running shoes
Sneakers that tie or strap on well. Spikes stay home.
A filled water bottle
Labeled, and filled before camp. We refill it at every break.
Lunch and a snack
Packed in a bag your camper can open. We keep lunches in the shade.
A hat and sunscreen
Sunscreen already on at drop-off, and a hat for the sunny blocks.
Shorts or leggings and a t-shirt
Clothes that move. Dress in layers on a cool morning.
A light rain jacket
For drizzle on the way in. On storm days camp moves into the gym.
Leave at home
Some things stay home
A long day on the track is easier without these. If something matters to your camper, ask us first.
Phones and tablets
Coaches call you if your camper needs to reach you.
Running spikes
Plain running shoes keep the track and the jump pit in good shape.
Valuables and jewelry
Rings and watches get in the way of a baton pass.
Toys and trading cards
They are easy to lose on a field.
